History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maynild fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Rieta has worked very hard to control her curse. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
