Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Meriele learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Through the years after Meriele was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Meriele's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her red fur is heavily combed to the left. Her copper eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Leaf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a Body Guard soon after.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His orange fur is long and unkept. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears dull tan sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greatsword, just in case. He has wavy black hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now owns his own business.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
