History: Veit lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Veit alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
