History: Hobart lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Darrow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
