History: Jabbie hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pogranix fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
