Description: This man stands a little under 2'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is chestnut and very short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and usually wears his grey robe and has his lance always slung over his shoulder. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Solomon would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light green in addition to tight pants, and carries falchions. Her purple hair is singed and shortened. Her fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mastema is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a black coat. Her crest is cut close to her head. Her eyes are gold.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult
