History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His silver hair is cut short. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Thar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
