History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Morana is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Herbalist, her father struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Kairon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kairon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She struck the Detective job and began her own company from there.
