Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears a tan collared shirt and grey skirt. She accessorizes with a yellow scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt, marred by teas. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Elama was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Uthemar studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her crest, while still mostly rusty, has prominent grey streaks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Megren grew up listening to her father's many stories. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is portly but not overly obese. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Quarion is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
