History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ahvain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He has a dull look in his yellow eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shadow was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she has money and likes to spend it
