History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
