History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Faral was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Slave Trader. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A 5'8" northern woman, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her top white hat.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Roofer for hire.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a fletcher and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
