History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Makaria alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eberk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Eberk was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Eberk's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
