Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants, and he perpetually has his shortspear ready. His hair is long and brown with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Qualen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Qualen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Katherine reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has achieved small success as a Seamstress.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her golden hair is well kept. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lilli grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lilli. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands
