History: Geoffrey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
