History: Valorean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Spear was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Spear's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
