History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of a Slave Trader, who enjoyed hunting, Cask was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Burana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but she was a colossal failure. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Mehen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
