Personality: Ratbag is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Ratbag was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Bune learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
