History: Veloptima lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Gnome Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she usually wears her brown robe and has her halberd always slung over her shoulder. With bright silver hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Whurdred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents enrolled her in a Barbarian school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurdred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
