Description: This woman is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on her left hand. She wears her chestnut hair down. Her black eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She struck the Ploughman job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a mayor again

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has a very tight haircut. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Ovak hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ovak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Herbalist and was forced into it by his family.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a bow on his belt. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Ratlûg was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ratlûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratlûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts and is in decent physical shape. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hobart's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Hobart was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to reunite with his absent mother
