Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and doesn't want to be a gardener and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: Jane was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
