Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north to a Miner, Laucian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
