Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: She likes to wear brown tank tops with violet skirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'10" when asserting herself. Her red hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nurkara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Butcher mother left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'7". He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He keeps his gold crest in a flapper bob. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tarhun fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Voice: Dark and ominous

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His brass crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gorbundus was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. He has wavy red hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Nim hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
