Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery, and he perpetually has his sword ready. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His gold eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balam embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Balam and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Shamil speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shamil does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: This malnourished woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her golden hair is knotted and matted. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Mumpena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and her religion dominates her actions
