Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Forcas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. History: Ar-Gul was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ar-Gul never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Andraste alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and to unite with her sister
