His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shoemaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Anbera will drive conversation. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Anbera was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anbera's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bowyer for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job
