Personality: Heian speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Heian was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Dain hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has never given up on her singing dream.
