History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After months of barely getting by, Shadow managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She was born in the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
