History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hûmgrat alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is greedy

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortbow, but if one is not available he will default to his flail, and is pretty ugly. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to clean up the streets

Voice: Sighs a lot, exhausted

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she tends to wear a tan poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She sports silver long hair. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She became a Blacksmith soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business
