History: Tod hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and expand his business

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Hugolina was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hugolina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugolina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
