History: Gifted from a young age, Nyx studied abroad. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
