Description: A 3'3" northern woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Ulla is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: 3'4" and muscular, this eastern man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is content; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
