Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Navigator born in the past three hundred years. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Mary was born with her father's beautiful face. Her childhood dream was to be a Bricklayer, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Warryn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Priest. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: She is a Unemployed first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Drenna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Drenna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
