History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
