Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

Description: He tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He carries with him a set of longbows on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 53. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He uses divination through singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alston was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This late middle aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather and is in decent physical shape. He has white fur. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born in a small desert village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has violet eyes and a white hat with a green feather.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
