History: Born in the north to a Sage, Adam learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Abad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
