The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Nirgel lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Nirgel took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
