History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: This malnourished man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Frouse is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her silver hair is cut short. Her violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to unite with her sister
