History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Whurbin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

She prefers to carry a falchion, but if one is not available she will default to her bastard sword. Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has achieved small success as a Brewer.

Motivation: To be a Gardener again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
