History: Taklinn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she wants revenge against orcs

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
