History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Arnold has worked very hard to control his curse. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Cumpen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
