History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Paela hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is a Map Maker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ekemon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ekemon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and many dire rats want him driven away
