History: Cloak was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Ekk would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Edge was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chay embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Laborer soon after.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and further expansion of business
