Joan was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Eran was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Eran's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
