Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Anakis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sarah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sarah. Being a Fortune-teller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
