Through the years after Nedda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nedda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Miner father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. A true patriot, Shaena would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Shaena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
