Description: She is a husky woman, who wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Sarai enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Mortician but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gunnloda was born with her father's beautiful face. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mortician. She tends to her Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: This malnourished man wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a axe on his belt. His black hair is thinning but still full. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
