Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Nikki hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
