History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Valanthe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Elf Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His head has been shaved. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Dustin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears white leather gloves, a white jacket, and tight pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a grey tunic with red highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her white hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Farmer responsibilities is difficult; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
