History: Bryseis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. His red fur is greasy and uncared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears a red tunic with black highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her brown hair, when down, is lengthy. Her green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. A friendly and beautiful Halfling, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Junk Dealer.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his golden hair up. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is greedy
